I stayed in a Superior Double Room for one night. The room was lovely and super comfy, really quiet for a good night's sleep. Shower and toilet were in good shape too. The guy in charge was nice and even let us have an early breakfast. it just felt like a homely space. What a vibe!

Spacious ground floor room overlooking a quiet patio, providing nice privacy. The room had ample storage with spare pillows and a comfortable setup for relaxation. Easy access to a sunlit garden.
The shower pressure felt underwhelming, making mornings less invigorating than I'd prefer, and navigating the en suite layout was a bit awkward due to the toilet placement. Breakfast offerings leaned toward the basic end, not including any alternative options I hoped for, like soya milk, and the quality of the cooked items felt like they missed the mark, with lackluster sausages being the most disappointing of the lot. Housekeeping schedules seemed inconsistent. for example, our room was untouched one day despite reminding staff it had been moved. While I appreciate the new management's efforts, some fundamental elements seem to still need refinement.

The staff's kindness made my emergency stay manageable, but the inconsistent rules about food left me feeling frustrated late in my visit.

The stay featured a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. A surprising continental breakfast was offered, adding unexpected value. the dated dining area detracted from the experience, and the presence of hair in the breakfast was quite off-putting. The room's layout was cramped, lacking bedside cabinets and space to maneuver comfortably.

The room we had was spacious with really comfy beds, which made for a great night's sleep. We loved hanging out in the lovely garden area and enjoyed drinks on the patio. Just be warned, getting out of the shower means descending a couple of steps that are a bit tricky, so watch your step! 😊
